Guest Chef: Alessio Sedran

  

Chef Sedran is the Head Chef at the Restaurant "Le Scuderie "  at the Villa VignaMaggio in Greve in Chianti, Florence, Italy.

 

Villa Vignamaggio is a historical 14th century manor, where Leonardo da Vinci's Monnalisa was painted, as well as, a world renowned winery.

 

Chef Sedran studied at Istituto alberghiero Buontalenti

in Florence, Italy learning cooking and pastry from 2000 to 2005. 


Through the years he has organized and executed 
catering events for weddings, parties, as well as, private dining at the home of Noble Italian's such as the Frescobaldi family.

 

Chef Sedran also does consulting for restaurants: Menu, personnel selection, kitchen design and participates in culinary competitions.

 

Mona Lisa's Smile

"Next tirne you glance at Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, don't focus on the halfsmiling face, but notice instead the delicately painted landscape of hills, vineyards, castles, and cypress trees in the background. That's almost exactly the view you. get when you relax on the terrace outside your suite at Vignamaggio, a 400-acre wine estate in the Chianti area of Tuscany. There's no reason to be surprised: Leonardo grew up just a few miles from here.Not only that, but Mona Lisa was born in Vignamaggio, which her family, the rich Gherardinis, called home-starting in the 14th century. "Vignarnaggio was a fairly well-known winery about 500 years ago", says corporate lawyer Gianni Nunziante, who bought the 85-room Renaissance building and surrounding hills in early 1988."

1st Annual Halloween Dog Contest

October 27th 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 

Each participant parent has to sign in no later than 12:00 p.m.  The “sign in” area will be in the rear parking lot of Incontro. You will be given a tag with a number, which has to remain visible for the judges. The lineup will be at 12:15 p.m., the walk will start right after. Participants will walk with parent through our patio and they will stop in front of the judges and walk back. 

Forms need to be submitted no later than October 26th

Water and treats will be provided for all the dogs.

DON’T FORGET TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG!!

Giacomo, a guest of our Chef Rivera, will be presenting  his collection of unique recipes called “ATELIER

ATELIER” is Giacomo registered International Trademark and Copyrights

His creations are born and mastered by  using  Traditional Italian Recipes and ingredients.
